Can I add additional equipment to my lease?
While additional equipment cannot be added to an existing lease, a new lease can be set-up to co-terminate with your existing one. Payments for each lease are made separately.
Do I benefit from any warranties placed on the equipment?
Yes, all vendor warranties are passed on to you, the customer.
When do my payments start and when are they drawn from my account?
Your lease payment is due and withdrawn on the first of each applicable month in your payment schedule (Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually, or Annually).
The withdrawal date cannot be changed.
Can I cancel the lease?
While lease contracts are non-cancelable, you can replace the equipment or upgrade your equipment with a new lease at any time.
Can I move the equipment from one location to another?
Yes. Simply contact NLG via Online Help to notify us of the new location. As legal owners of the equipment, National Leasing must know the physical location of the equipment at all times. Also, tax adjustments may be required depending on where the equipment is being moved to.
Why am I receiving correspondence from National Leasing as opposed to the leasing company I dealt with at the start of my lease?
The terms and conditions of your lease contract allow a leasing company to assign the lease to third party. The administration of your lease has been assigned to National Leasing Group.
For administration purposes we will be in touch with you through the duration of your lease, and are available to answer any questions about your current lease. If you have additional leasing needs, please contact the leasing company you dealt with at the beginning of your lease.
Who owns the equipment?
National Leasing Group Inc. owns the equipment, the equipment is on lease to you.
Can I sell the equipment?
Once you have exercised your option to buy out the lease you have the right to sell the equipment. Prior to buying out the lease, the equipment belongs to National Leasing and cannot be sold. (For a lease buyout quote, use Online Help!)
